Your special gift if you leave a comment

Thanks to Colleen from GeekySpeaky, from now on each approved comment you leave on my site will be spidered by the search engines. Yes, if you comment on my site, you will get more visitors because:

  • other people will read your link in the comment and go have a look
  • the search engines will read your link and rank you higher in the search engines

Who is Colleen and why is she so smart? Colleen is smart because she works hard: she is the highest paid SAHM from PayPerPost.

2 things you need to do to attract quality visitors

If you want more visitors to your site, with a little investment of your time, do the following 2 things.

1. Make your comments readable by the search engines

For WordPress users, this means installing a plugin called Do Follow on your site, which I just did.

(Note: Any blog using any Do Follow is welcome – not just the one I linked above!)

2. Tell the whole world about you

There is a D-list with fellow Do Follow blogs, so you add yourself and write a similar post like the one you are reading now. People will see sooner or later that you are linking to them and they will visit you.

Read the instructions and find the list below.

  • Just copy the list and post it on your own site.
  • Move the ones under "My Adds" down to originals and
  • add your own nominations under "my adds"
  • …voila!

How to Join the Do Follow "d-list"

***Begin to copy here***

1. Write a short paragraph at the beginning of your post and link back to the blog that put you on the list in the paragraph. This isn’t a suggestion. You need to break up the duplicate content. Someone took the time to add you so the least you can do is give them an extra link back.

2. Copy the list of originals below COMPLETELY and add it to your blog. If you would like a different keyword for your blog then change it when you do your post and it should pass to most blogs with that keyword.

3. Take the adds from the blog that added you and place them in the “Originals” list.

4. Add at least 1 new blog that you KNOW is using the DO FOLLOW plugin to the list in the “My Adds” section. (Add no more than 5!) Let the people you’ve added know, so that they can keep the list going! (Link all the blogs in your post too!)

5. Leave relevant comments on the blogs listed and get a link back to your site thanks to Do Follow!

My Adds:

Arthritis Treatments
Quick Dinner Recipes
Make money online | Add your link exchange

Liver Cancer

The Originals:

GeekySpeaky
Simple Kind Of Life
3DayMom

Whatever I Feel Like
My Dandelion Patch

Comments

  1. The problem with the D-List is that everybody now has some extra links added, yet there should be a complete long list for all to use.

Let me try and do that when my 1001 things are done (almost there, 3 steps to go)

  2. I maximize the dofollow list by browsing through the listed blogs and leaving relevant comments. I very recently learned that these comments should be linked specifically to similar or related topics on my blog, much as I’m doing here.

Since all the lists are, of course, incomplete I also copy and paste the lists to a master list on my desktop so I add more and more blogs to explore. I also joined the dofollow community at bumpzee to discover even more dofollow blogs.
