For those like Zubli who follow my mybloglog member page French, you know that I am into languages.

That’s why I love this Wordpress global translator plugin: those flags you see in my right side bar. Click on the French flag, and tadaa: French translators have no more way to make money online :twisted: .

How to use Wordpress global translator plugin

  1. It’s a plugin, so once down and uploaded, you need to activate it.
  2. Choose “Options->Global Translator” from the main menu and :
    1. select your blog language and
    2. your flags bar layout.
  3. In order to show the flags,so people can translate your site, you need to have HTML code that looks like this:
    <?php if(function_exists("gltr_build_flags_bar")) { gltr_build_flags_bar(); } ?>

If all that is done then leave a comment answering:

  1. Based on your expert opinion and your experiences, does this Wordpress Global Translator Plug-in works for blog site 1.0 – 2.0. Yes, does it work also with wordpress.com.

    I don’t see a plugin tab in wordpress.com, so I assume plugins don’t work there (best is to ask their support help desk).

    It did work with versions of Wordpress lower than 2.0

    Hope that answers your question, otherwise please ask again.
