What do you do BEFORE you go on holiday?

1. you look for information where to go
2. you choose a destination
3. you decide how long you will go
4. you look for the best ways to get there
5. you find out what things you can do there
6. you book some tours and taxis to not waste time once you arrive

What do you do BEFORE you make money on the Internet?

… now this will look familiar…

1. you look for information where to go
2. you choose a destination
3. you decide how long you will go

Or if you want to use real money making terms:

1. you look for information where you want to make money in (your passion, your skills, people’s problems, supply, demand…)
2. you choose a destination (you pick a passion that CAN earn you money)
3. you decide how long you will go (when do you want to earn how much money?)
4. you look for the best ways to get there (blog, website, write an ebook…)
5. you find out what things you can do there (mingle with the newbies and become their teacher, mingle with the others, produce useful info, point to better sites…)
6. you book some tours and taxis to not waste time once you arrive:
1. do you do all on your own and spend lots of time or
2. do you spend some money and save lots of time

But I already have a website, now what…

If you are like me and already have a website that makes money, keep with it but make some extra time for :

• evaluating,
• focusing and
• planning.

Evaluate if you are really happy with what you are doing? If not, then where are you not happy? This will be the start for improvement.

Focus: You wonder why a blog like Linky Love talking about Money, Pets, Sexy Gossip, SEO and Blogs of the Weekend is not making as much money as it should? It’s all in the FOCUS, and in our case: the lack of it. In stead of rambling about all this in 1 blog, I better break it up in 5 blogs. "Deconstruct and reconstruct"…

Planning: Step of the sink and swim idea and start planning where you want to swim to. Once you know where you want to go, you can break it up in little steps.

How easy is that?

Very easy to say but rest assured: this can take a whole month to get yourself ready.

And that’s exactly what Linky Love will be doing these next few weeks: making a new plan and start the rest of our journey well organised.
