What is wrong with Firefox?

Is this only me or are others encountering the same problem?

My computer is running slow (CPU Usage 100%), so immediately my geeky sister suspected spyware. I run Adaware and yes, I have some "critical objects". Once removed and restarted my computer, all goes well until I start browsing in Firefox.

Same thing: computer slows down, run Adaware, find critical objects.

So for a few days I only run Internet Explorer and all goes fine.

Yesterday I run Firefox again and today as you can see: no updates on my blog: my computer is as slow as a drunk snail…

I did update Firefox a few weeks ago.

Is anybody else suffering a similar problem (with Firefox) and how did you solve it?

How to make sure you make money online?

Lesson learned: if you want to make money on the Internet,

make sure you have 2 working computers !

Have you installed any new extensions lately?

One thing that always works for me is to disable ALL of my extensions, then try again. It may be that two or more of your extensions are not compatible and they are vying for the top spot.

Also, check your theme. Make sure you aren’t using some fancy smancy theme that could be causing problems with your extensions and vice versa.

Let me know if that helps!!!

    Thanks Ellie!

What do you mean by extensions? (Will google that up soonest :-) )

I am extreme frugal that I don’t add any fancy stuff, hoping my laptop will keep as fast as possible.

Am now downloading all xp updates, hope that helps,

    Thx!
