Malaysian Astronaut reaches the Muppet Show

tunang dr sheikh muszapharSo he has been in space, are we now a proud Malaysian nation? Or how much does all this remind me on the old videos of the Muppet Show? Well, there is some funny resemblance that makes my head turn as pink as the characters in the picture each time I have to be reminded to the following…

How does the Malaysian Astronaut represents Education?

Tunang Dr Sheikh Muszaphar did follow an 18 months course to become a cosmonaut. Did he succeed? I also followed an 18 months course, but it’s the exam that makes the difference whether you just followed a course or graduated in that course!

No paper, no talk!

How does the Malaysian Astronaut represents Malaysian Education?

When I was studying in Malaysia, a typical excuse of not fulfilling an assignment on time was :

Sorry Sir, I spilled my coffee over my handwritten assignment just when it was finished

Then I came in Europe and the assignments just never stopped so I tried out the above excuse once…

  • Sorry Sir, I spilled my coffee over my handwritten assignment just when it was finished
  • Never mind, some words will still be readable, just go home and bring back what you have in the afternoon and give me a clean one in a few days time.

Double jeopardy…!

My first time in the international arena became a huge embarrassment. Just imagine having to write an assignment, on purpose spill coffee over it and then having to re-write it.

So first time in the international arena Tunang Dr Sheikh Muszaphar says:

  • I did SOME experiments in space but the results where destroyed because of the rough touchdown in Kazakhstan

Owee, the whole world is laughing as loud as they were when I so called spilled coffee over my assignment…

I can assure you , it’s no fun these days to go out here in the streets in Europe and being asked what your nationality is… Thank you Malaysian Space Program: make my country proud…
