In stead of just going for the "global" communities, The Skinny Cook joined a community for food lovers. We recommend you follow the example: look for a "niche" community where you find on the spot people with the same interest, therefore they will visit your blog much easier than the "passing by" visitors from the big communities.

Our blog of the day today is Spanish words…

With all the gossip about Spanish speaking hot celebrities like Noelia, Galilea Montijo, Wanda Nara… in order to be hot on the news, I read the Spanish blogs.

Zoukout : Best dance beach party ever from 8pm to 8am
in Sentosa: Singapore!

Whilst in Malaysia they are still bickering about what the accepted dresscode should be on the beautiful beaches of Terranganu… On top of that there is wild protest about Gwen Stefani Clothes being too sexy or not. And to top it all of, Malaysia wants to be truly Asia when it comes to promoting there country as a tourist haven…

Singapore tops it all of with Zoukout: a hot beach party getting international recognition. Gosh: Europe is shivering cold, where better to go than warm Singapore where you can party all night long?

Exactly what happened the 8th of December at Zoukout with lots of cewek dancing the night away on a cream of the cream of DJ’s.

Zouk is a well-known club in Malaysia and no wonder they are in Singapore as well.

My first comment on Malaysia rules Technorati! points out that Bunga Citra Lestari is from Indonesia. Which is true, so we need to clarify some things here…

Indonesia

Indonesia is well known in Europe thanks to the Dutch colonization. Lots of Indonesians went to Holland and introduced their delicious cuisine into the quite boring Dutch kitchens

Malaysia

Malaysia is Indonesia’s neighbour and quite unknown in Europe. Twin Towers and astronauts aside: Europe gets interested when we say we are that country next to Indonesia and we don’t get the news because we don’t have suicide bombers running around our streets…

Malaysia houses 3 different cultures: Malay originating in Indonesia many years ago, Chinese and Indian. In the international press we are told to be living in harmony. When you know our languages and listen to our talks in the streets, you will hear very different stories.

Singapore

In 1964 Malaysia took there map and draw a kind of circle at the bottom of there country and said: from now on this is called Singapore and whoever Malaysian wants to go there: feel free! There is no oil, no resources, no nothing: so go and be happy!

Singapore is known worldwide. They house the same 3 different cultures as in Malaysia and there is real harmony between the 3 races: no in-law discrimination like in Malaysia!

Bunga Citra Lestari

Although Indonesia hosts the biggest Muslim population in the world, when it comes to showing pictures of women like the Citra Bunga Lestari pics in this post: Indonesia is much more open than Malaysia: like Japan is compared to therest of Asia…

So who rules Technorati?

Thanks to the colonizers who have been drawing lines between Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia, it’s quite a mess here, just like it is a mess in Iraq or Israel… Whoever has been drawing borders between people from the same origin has not the interest of these people in mind…

Anyway, if you see the words in the tags below that you don’t know, they could be spoken by people from the south of Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia or Singapore (and even by some people in The Netherlands!).
