How to make money on the Internet with pets

You don’t have to think far out of the box: think dating sites and now in stead of filling the database with people, you fill it with puppies…

Or you give the service free like what I am trying to do at Adopt a puppy for free, or you can start charging money for your service.

You could also start a dating site for pet lovers, but most likely that already exist, if not, be the first!

How to make money with pets

I can hear you thinking: breed pets and sell the offspring… That would work fine if you have no problem taking car of the pets when they are not pregnant. Also some pet breeders really over do it as if the dog or cat is no more than a puppy or kitten cow.

Start a Pet Service

You could start a "niche pet wash" using only soap free dog shampoo (which is a very cheap way of making homemade dog shampoo: always make sure you invest less than you will earn!)

But pet services don’t only have to be grooming or washing dogs and cats. Dog walkers for example are a new breed of pet service provides… Cat-walkers on the other hand are rare, but so are cats that want to be walked. Yet they do exist (mine is not one of them… it shows on his belly as well…)

When I was a kid and had holidays, I advertised in the pet shop that I would "pet-sit": baby-sit dogs, cats and rabbits. It was just ideal : during holidays you have all the time of the world, people come to your house (kids don’t drive cars you know…), you get a nice pet to play with and in the process you get paid for it

And if you are in cooking: you could start a dog treat catering business : google for free dog treat recipes or buy them at Dog treat cookbooks.

Then again: why should you pay for something that you can get free

1. post reviewers don’t know any Ted Murphy : I got countless rejections for reasons CEO Ted Murphy clearly stated they are allowed to do… Ted Murphy writes in the PayPerPost boards what’s allowed: yes to affiliates and Kontera in non PayPerPost posts! Yet the amount of rejections I got because there are affiliates and Kontera posts in my blog are huge. Pointing out once what Ted Murphy says doesn’t help. Nothing really, and that’s the lesson to learn today.

The only reason why this cat is fat is because:

If you want to earn money on the Internet: find a person, service, product, community… that you love!

Do you love Pagerank?

If you do love PageRank, then "carry on!".

If you don’t, then look for something you do love to make money online with.

• If my cat has a website and he subscribes to Adsense or even better: Bidvertiser, my cat will still be earning money for being lazy lying on his back.
• If my cat subscribes to a "paid to blog" service: he will have to stand up and work each time he wants some money. And if he wants to earn more money, he will need to get a better Pagerank… Now what does a cat know about PageRank? Exactly, only if you can write down the PageRank algorithm, I close my case.

The point is:

• if you have a good blog that you love, you can easily monetize it.
• if you start up from scratch like Linky Love AND compete in a field with lots of proven big money earners, thinks twice before you start!

Only a niche that you love will bring in a decent flow of money.

And as you can see: make money online is not a niche, therefore I am not making big money here.

A respectable firm that suddenly:

• keeps on going to Vegas (are they trying to gamble to get some money?)
• has a lottery based opportunities system
• Tuesdays for the US residents
• Wednesdays some "special opportunities" for non US bloggers
• and has been weeding out the non US posties (yes, try to get any post when it isn’t Wednesday and try to compete with all the non US bloggers on a Wednesday…)

Doesn’t this feel like a firm that has only one thing in mind: getting bought over to the highest bidder in US now they are on the top of their game?

Yes, this is more or less what I am earning after the Geographical Segmentation at PayPerPost… but I wanted to say:

• here in Asia we take a man on his words
• and we know the Internet is a very volatile playground

Don’t sit back being sad about missed opportunities, ( before the PayPerPost boom you probably weren’t making that much money either).

So my advice is:

• sign up for PayPerPost,
• only look at the opportunities in white,
• take the opportunities you and your readers would like and
• enjoy what you are doing in your blog
