If you liked the benefits of viral tags and you love the beauty of favicons, then you should also try this out!

Instead of tags, your blog or site’s favicon are inserted in the matrix. This ends up to be a beautiful artwork for your blog! I got this from Yummy Silicon Chips.

How to join the favicon matrix?

Be sure to fill in the three important parts of your viral icon, which is:

the source of your favicon or ask Linky Love to make one for you,
the hyperlink to your blog, and
the alt text which would be used to help the crawlers identify and associate your alt text with your icon.

Copy and paste the matrix of “Viral Icons” below courtesy of Ilker Yoldas from The Thinking Blog. Upload your non-animated favicon (GIF image of size 16×16 pixels) to ImageShack, a similar free image hosting server or to your own server provided by your hosting service if you have one.
Substitute the Host Icon and one of the “Viral Icons” in the matrix with your ALT text of choice and your blog’s URL. Maximum of 3 specific keywords for the ALT text are best for it to be effective.
When you get a ping back from someone that has your icon in one of their “Viral Icons”, practice good karma by copying his/her Host Icon’s code (automatically the associated ALT tag will also be copied) and paste it over one of your “Viral Icons” below.
Invite your readers to do the same and soon this can grow virally.

So far I didn’t jump on the Alexa train, as i find the Favicon matrix much more beautiful and more challenging than just any other copy-paste list.

My 2 cents (3 actually)
1. In your Lilyruth blogspot, change the banner size of Bidvertiser (468 in stead of 728), as it is now messing up your blog.
2. dogcents uses a very beautiful yet very difficult blogger template, maybe you would start of with another one that works perfectly without you having to work your way through the HTML code
3. Read my “First 10 steps” Category. Main thing is to set the bar low in the beginning and gradually set it higher.

If you write about your blog as stated in the Blog of the day rules, I can add it as well. Just be honest: people love to help new blogs out as long as they don’t pretend to be as good as CNN

You are in need of a favicon as well, if so, please ask again and I will make an .ico of this doggy for you. I didn’t see any favicons on your blogs though (the favicon matrix should be inside a post of your blog you join the favicon matrix with…sounds more complicated than it is )

Today I made the Favicon Matrix ready to be used withour errors for Wordpress users. Looking forward to hear feedback if it’s also ready for the other blogplatforms?

I removed as it didn’t seem to be pointing anywhere visible to the favicon matrix, hope kclau.com can fix this?

The favicon matrix will be updated soonest I got my hands on a working computer again, so far Dell only ships after the 16th of July, which is quite late. So please bare with me some delay, meanwhile your request is noted on my handheld
